Joshua Young and the Good Goblin Theater Company are excited to announce that Studio 1 selected Good Goblin to premiere a new, fully immersive, horror-drama, The Shadow Amok Time, at their prestigious Snow Camp Amphitheater this October.
This piece was selected as part of their creative development program, offering generous resources to emerging theater companies and playwrights to realize their production alongside licensed and established shows across their season.
This Studio 1's institutional support is fastly becoming a peer of programs such as the O'Neill Center's Playwrights Conference and Berkley Rep's Groundfloor program, but with a focus deeply rooted in North Carolina. The Shadow Amok Time was written by Joshua Young, show shares showrunner status with Devisors Elyse Brown-Roberts and Tommie Gervase.
These three are the leadership structure steering this project into the future and will be excited to share progress along the way. And we're looking for fellow devisors, actors, and techies! If you're interested in participating please reach out, especially if you have an interest in learning about acting, puppet making, projection mapping, and all the cutting edge tools of contemporary theater.
